Hi @bookstore1369,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The 3F0 Boot Device Not Found error indicates an issue with your HP PC where it cannot find the boot device. This can be due to several reasons, such as a loose connection, a faulty hard drive, or issues with BIOS configuration. Here are the steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Test the Hard Drive:

  • Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI to test the hard drive. Open the diagnostics tool and perform a quick test to ensure the hard drive is functioning properly.

Reset BIOS to Defaults:

  • Enter the BIOS setup utility by turning on your PC and pressing the Esc or F10 key repeatedly.
  • Once in the BIOS, locate and select the option to reset BIOS settings to their default values.

Verify Hard Drive Connection:

  • Ensure that the hard drive is securely connected to the motherboard. You may need to reseat the connection to make sure it's firmly in place.

Use HP Cloud Recovery or Reinstall Windows:

Take care and have an amazing day!
