I KNOW THE PASSWORD
I AM NOT TRYING TO BYPASS DRIVELOCK
DO NOT LOCK THIS PLEASE
i just setup a drivelock password on my drive
i was told in the manual that at boot i would asked for password
i reboot
doesn't ask for password
drive is locked
all my data inaccesible
and the drive can't even be erased or used in any capacity
so the way i see it, is that hp just robbed me off my ssd
i have tried everything
i'm just never prompted to unlock the disk (like i was told i will be)
and turns out i am not the only person
one other poor guy had the same issue but his post got locked because "bypassing security is against the forum guidelines" when it was very clear he knew the password and wasn't trying to bypass anything
are my options really just trying to unlock the disk on another hp notebook or getting rid of the ssd entirely?
