Thank you for reaching out. Regarding the unable to reset and stuck on HP Logo issue you’re experiencing with your HP pro tab 408

 

Kindly review the instructions as below :

The above documentations are the only available resources that i could share with you at this moment as the device you are referring to is obsolete to my knowledge however please give these documents a read and try.

 

To Perform Reset : 

**Note : you would loose all your data of any kind present on the device while performing reset it is advised to backup everything before performing reset

 

To factory reset an HP Pro Tablet 408 G1, first power it off. Then, while restarting, hold down the F11 key to enter the recovery menu. From there, select Troubleshoot, then Reset your PC, and confirm the process to restore the tablet to its factory settings

 

Step-by-Step Reset Instructions
  1. Power Off: Turn off your HP Pro Tablet 408 G1 completely. 
     
  2. Initiate Restart & Recovery: Press the Power key to switch the tablet on. As it starts to restart, immediately press and hold the F11 key. 
     
  3. Select Keyboard Layout: When prompted, select your desired keyboard layout. 
     
  4. Choose Troubleshoot: Navigate to and select the Troubleshoot option. 
     
  5. Select Reset: Choose the Reset your PC option from the menu. 
     
  6. Confirm Reset: Press Next to confirm the reset process. 
     
  7. Complete the Process: Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the factory reset operation. The tablet will restart after the process is finished

This will help us narrow down the cause and suggest the best fix.
