@waheed313,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error message "Product Information Not Valid or Missing" on your HP laptop indicates that essential BIOS information, such as the serial number, product number, or system board information, is either missing or corrupted. This typically happens due to.

  • Motherboard replacement (without reprogramming the BIOS).
  • BIOS corruption or reset after an update or power issue.

Restore BIOS Defaults

  1. Restart your laptop and press F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS setup.
  2. Navigate to the "Advanced" or "Security" tab.
  3. Select "Restore Defaults" or "Load Default Settings" and confirm.
  4. Save changes and exit (F10 > Yes).

Reprogram the System Board Information

This requires a DMI tool (HP BIOS Configuration Utility) to re-enter your laptop’s serial number and product number.

  1. Press F1 on the error screen to check the missing details.

BIOS Update (If Possible)

If the BIOS is corrupted:

  1. Download the latest BIOS update for your laptop model from the HP support website.
  2. Install it using the HP BIOS Update utility (via USB if necessary).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
