" Required CD/DVD device is missing" while installing Windows 7 on HP with Windows 10

2 years ago I have bought a laptop HP 15-da0011nf with windows 10 64 bits installed into it. my pc has only 4gb of RAM, It is very slow, and now I've decided to install windows 7 to reduce slowness of the PC, especially that I don't use much Windows 10 features. I've bought a Windows 7 license, the seller provided me with a download link, so I've downloaded the Iso ( windows 7 with46 bits), I made a usb key rebootable, and then copied the Iso into it using Rufus. I did changes in Bios: Legacy Setup and UEFI setup both enabled, and made USB Diskette on key USD/HardDisk first in boot order . So When the PC restart, and USB is plugged, it directs me to the installation Windows 7, though, I get the error message :" Required CD/DVD device is missing". How can I cope with this problem : I've tried to unplug/plug , and also change the usb port . it didn't work. I don't have a usb 3.0, so no settings related to it in the bios . Did anyone have this problem before with HP , and how did you solve it ? Thank you in advance

Hi:

You can only run W10 64 bit on your PC.

The reason W7 won't install is because it does not have the USB 3.1 drivers needed to continue the installation, and none exist.

Even if you were by some miracle to install W7 on there, you will find no drivers to work the most important devices the notebook has...USB, graphics...

Install more memory and a solid state drive if you want the notebook to run better.

Current memory is 4 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB), you think it is possible to add memory for this category?

Chapter 1 of the service manual I posted earlier has the memory upgrade info.

You can install 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.
