Installing the BIOS update
Follow these steps to download and install a BIOS update from the HP website:
Go to the HP Software and Driver Downloads page: Navigate to HP Software and Driver Downloads.
Find your product page: Enter your laptop model ("HP17-p121wm") and select your product from the search results.
Select BIOS update: On your product page, look for the BIOS section. Review any available BIOS updates.
- Confirm compatibility: Ensure the BIOS update is more recent than the one installed on your laptop and that it applies to your computer model.
- Download the BIOS update: Click on the download link for the BIOS update and save the file to your computer.
Installing the BIOS update:
