Hi @Amrehab2511,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
If the Secure Boot and TPM options have disappeared from the BIOS and the serial number has changed to a generic, it's likely that the motherboard's system firmware (BIOS) is missing its product information block due to a corruption or reset. Here's how you can address this issue:
Verify BIOS Update
- Ensure you have installed the latest BIOS version for your HP Notebook - 15-da0091ne.
- Update the BIOS for your PC by clicking on the link.
Make sure you keep only the charger plugged in while updating the BIOS for your PC.
Click on the + sign next to BIOS and then download the file.
Open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Check for Manufacturing Programming Mode (MPM)
- Enter the BIOS setup by pressing F10 at startup.
- Look for any mention of MPM Lock or similar settings. If the mode is unlocked, you can reprogram the missing details. If locked, only HP or an authorized service center can unlock it.
Reprogram Product Information
- Use the HP DMI Tool to reprogram the serial number, product number, and SKU. However, this tool is typically not publicly available and is provided only to HP technicians.
- If you have advanced technical knowledge, search for compatible DMI tools (use them cautiously, as incorrect usage can damage the BIOS).
Secure Boot and TPM Settings
- If these options are missing, ensure that UEFI Mode is enabled in the BIOS.
- They may also disappear if the system is reset to legacy mode or if the BIOS is in a corrupted state.
Reset BIOS to Factory Defaults
- Access the BIOS setup and select the option to Load Setup Defaults or Factory Defaults.
- Save changes and reboot.

I hope this helps.

Hi @Irwin6,
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
but sadly, I've updated the bios to the latest version and tried all the bios settings and reset, and it did not work. BTW, I found the secure boot. The only problem beside the serial number problem is the tpm. Windows says the tpm device is not detected, and it was there once ago, as I had a Windows 11 update before this problem.
