@priyadarshidigi, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Let's work together to resolve the startup issue you're facing with your HP 15-f2000 Laptop PC.

Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Please try the following steps in order:

Perform a Hard Reset

This helps clear any residual power and reset hardware connections.

Steps:

  • Turn off the laptop completely.
  • Disconnect the power adapter.
  • Remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and power adapter.
  • Try turning it on again.

Check for LED or Beep Codes

When you press the power button, do you see any blinking lights or hear beeps?

  • Blinking Caps Lock or Power LED: Indicates a hardware error.
  • Beep sounds: Count the beeps – they help identify the issue.

Try Connecting to an External Display

If the laptop powers on but the screen stays black:

  • Connect it to an external monitor via HDMI or VGA.
  • Press F4 to switch display modes.

Use HP Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)

If the laptop powers on, run a quick test to check for hardware issues.

Steps:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press Esc repeatedly, then F2 to enter diagnostics.
  • Run System Test or Component Tests.

BIOS Recovery (if screen is blank)

If the laptop doesn’t show anything on screen, try recovering the BIOS.

Steps:

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Press and hold Windows key + B, then press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds.
  • Release all keys and wait for BIOS recovery screen.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
