HP Notebook - 15-bs013dx

My computer throws an error code 10 when the Wi-Fi is initialized during the boot process.  The Wi-Fi doesn't connect shown on the bottom righthand side of the screen, it only shows an earth ion.  After the boot process there is no internet connection and if you log on as a user eventually, 10-20 minutes you get a BSOD. The BSOD states Stop code Driver IRQL not less or equal,  rtwlane, sys failed.   If you go to the adapter settings there is no wifi ion or settings, I believe it is wiped off due to the error.

This isn't a hardware or driver issue because I can work around this and reestablish internet connection.

I have found if, 1) I login and create a new user before the BSOD and manual restart the computer,

2) then login to the new user sw must initialize the profile and whatever else it does for several minutes.

3) go to the adapter setting, the wifi icon is there and set the wifi to enable, then the internet works.

I've ran all the HP network diagnostics and shows no problems.

Allow me to mention that this issue began after I used McAfee to create a VPN.   That sw never created a VPN for WiFI, it created two Ethernet VPN.   After a restart is when problems began.    I contacted McAfee support; they said it was either a driver or hardware problem and they suggested I uninstall McAfee to prove it wasn't due to their sw.    I argued with them because it began when their sw loaded the Ethernet VPN.    With the loss of the WiFi,  I lost the internet so they could no longer support me.
