Hi,
Boot from the Windows 7 media.
When loaded, select Repair Your Computer and choose the Command Prompt. When this loads, enter the following, hitting return after each entry.
diskpart
list disk
Assuming there is only 1 hard drive installed then enter
select disk 0
clean
convert mbr
when done type exit and hit enter.
Run the Windows 7 installation again.

DP-K

Hi,
In that case, try the following.
Create a bootable Windows 10 DVD or USB Flash Drive via the following link. Under the section 'Need to create a USB, DVD or ISO', download the Media Creation Tool.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Once you have this, run the tool, select 'Create installation media for another PC', then select the language, edition of Windows 10, and either 32bit or 64bit that is relevant to your HP.
Follow the rest of the prompts to create this and then click Finish when completed.
Boot your notebook from the Windows 10 installation media and open a Command Prompt- Option 1
Enter the following, hitting return after each entry.
diskpart
list disk
Assuming there is only 1 hard drive installed then enter
select disk 0
clean
convert mbr
when done type exit and hit enter.
Try running the Windows 7 installation again.
