This is an older laptop computer. I was getting the thermal shutdown error a while ago and took it to a repair guy and he said he replaced a heat sensor, I think... anway it worked for a bit, then started doing the same thing. I took it back to the same guy and he told me that the motherboard was damaged. I ordered a new motherboard and replaced it myself, but when I tried to boot, it immediatly shuts down and whrn I tried to boot again I'm getting the "thermal shutdown occured" message. What causes this problem? Shouldn't be the motherboard because I just changed that. The fan is working... where are the heat sensors?
