To turn on your HP ZBook Firefly 14 G7 using a USB keyboard without opening the display, follow these steps:
- Access BIOS/UEFI Settings: Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI by pressing the appropriate key (usually F10 or Esc) during startup.
- Enable USB Wake: Look for options like "Power On by Keyboard" or "Wake on USB" under the Power Management or Advanced settings. Enable this feature.
- Check USB Power Settings: Ensure that your USB ports provide power when the laptop is off. This is often found in Legacy USB settings.
- Use Compatible Keyboard: Some keyboards have a dedicated power button that can also be configured to turn on the lapto
Make sure to save changes before exiting BIOS.
