Product: OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0013dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi all,
My son's laptop no longer boots properly and goes to a black screen. When I go into the Hardware diagnostics and test the SSD, I get:
SMART check: passed
Short DST: not available
and when I do the extensive test:
SMART check: passed
Long DST: not available
Can anyone give me some guidance if this means the SSD has malfunctioned and I need to replace it, or if this might simply be a corrupted windows installation and I should try reinstalling windows. I'm uncertain because the DSTs weren't "failed", and I'm not sure what "not available" is telling me.
Thanks!
