Hi @Nj_Rohit ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the issues you're encountering with your HP Laptop PC 15s-Fr2000 can be caused by a variety of factors, including software or hardware problems.
Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off your laptop.
- Disconnect all external devices (e.g., USB drives, printers).
- Unplug the AC adapter.
- If the battery is removable, remove the battery.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the AC adapter (and the battery, if removed).
- Turn on your laptop.
Access Safe Mode:
- Restart your laptop.
- Press F8 repeatedly before the Windows logo appears.
- Select Safe Mode from the Advanced Boot Options menu.
- If you can boot into Safe Mode, try running a virus scan and checking for any recently installed software that may be causing the issue.
Perform Startup Repair:
- Insert a Windows installation media (USB or DVD).
- Boot from the installation media by pressing F9 to open the Boot Device Options menu.
- Select your installation media and press Enter.
- Choose your language preferences and click Next.
- Click Repair your computer.
- Select Troubleshoot, then Advanced options, and then Startup Repair.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Check for Hardware Issues: HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
- Run HP's built-in hardware diagnostics:
- Turn off your laptop.
- Press the power button and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens.
- Press F2 to open the System Diagnostics.
- Run a full system test to check for hardware issues.
System Restore:
- If you have a recent system restore point, you can try restoring your laptop to a previous state:
- Boot from the Windows installation media.
- Select Repair your computer.
- Choose Troubleshoot, then Advanced options, and then System Restore.
- Follow the prompts to restore your system to a previous point.
Reinstall Windows:
- If none of the above steps work, you may need to reinstall Windows. Make sure to back up your data before proceeding:
- Boot from the Windows installation media.
- Select Install Now and follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall Windows.
