Hi @DirtyDopeyDogg, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Notebook 15-da0046nr is not booting into Windows 11 and the USB drive is not working, follow these troubleshooting steps:

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Disconnect the power adapter and remove any peripherals (USB drives, external HDDs, etc.).
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power adapter and try turning it on.

Check if BIOS Recognizes USB

  1. Power off the laptop.
  2. Power it on and repeatedly press F10 to enter the BIOS.
  3. Navigate to the Boot Options and check if the USB drive appears.
    • If the USB drive is not detected, try using another USB port or a different USB drive.
    • If it appears, change the boot order to prioritize USB.

Access HP Recovery Mode

Try booting into HP Recovery Mode:

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Turn it on and immediately press F11 repeatedly.
  3. If HP Recovery loads, follow the on-screen options to reset or repair Windows.

Create a New Windows 11 Bootable USB

If your current USB is not working, you may need to create a new one on another computer:

  1. Download the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11
  2. Use it to create a bootable USB (at least 8GB) using Rufus or the Media Creation Tool.
  3. Insert the USB into your HP laptop and try booting from it.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  1. Power off the laptop.
  2. Turn it on and repeatedly press F2 to enter the HP Hardware Diagnostics.
  3. Run a Quick Test to check for any hardware issues.

Check for Corrupt Boot Configuration

If Windows is corrupted, try accessing the Command Prompt from a bootable USB (if it works) and run:

bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /rebuildbcd

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
