Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂
I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
As I understand the PC won't boot into windows, instead you get a black screen since the recent update to BIOS failed,
Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,
Please attempt the below steps:
Run the System Diagnostics tests

Let me know if those steps worked for you.
If they did, that’s awesome!

Thank you for the update,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
I looked around for the beeps codes and what they mean, while you attempt the steps I suggested previously,
Here's what I found: Bios Beep Codes - 1 long 2 short is a video adapter failure, refers to a faulty video card caused due to possible overheating.
I also found this video on YouTube (Click here) as it seemed to have helped a few, although I wouldn't personally recommend the steps as it could be complicated, you may do it at your own discretion.
(The above link is 3rd party and is not owned by HP, I've posted this only so that i may help you resolve this issue by going beyond by support boundaries, please ignore the ads and take only the free suggestions)
I strongly recommend you contact HP instead as they can set up a repair service order to fix your PC (free of charge if the PC is covered by an HP warranty).
Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone numberCase number and phone number appear.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
Keep me posted for any other assistance,

Thank you for the update,
I appreciate your time and efforts,
The contact support should be able to replace the appropriate parts for a charge, you may discuss the options with them.
If you wish to replace the parts on your own, you could always visit the HP Parts surfer to find the part number and purchase the part from the HP Parts store.
