The screen shows: Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We will restart it for you.  Please help me how to resolve this issue

This is a Windows stop error (also called a blue screen), and it usually points to a driver conflict, corrupted system file, or hardware fault. 

 

Let’s walk through a focused recovery process to help restore stability.

 

Step-by-Step: Fix Windows 11 Restart Loop After Stop Error

1. Perform a Power Drain

  • Shut down the laptop completely.
  • Unplug the power adapter.
  • If the battery is removable, take it out.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect power and try booting again.

This clears residual charge and resets hardware states.

 

2. Boot into Recovery Mode

  • Power on and force shutdown as soon as the HP logo appears.
  • Repeat this 3 times.
  • On the next boot, Windows should enter Recovery Mode.

If successful, you’ll see a blue screen with recovery options.

 

3. Use Advanced Startup Options

Once in Recovery Mode:

  • Select Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
  • If Startup Repair fails, go back and choose:
    • System Restore (if restore points exist)
    • Command Prompt (for advanced fixes)
    • Startup Settings > Enable Safe Mode

Safe Mode allows you to uninstall recent updates or drivers that may be causing the crash.

 

4. Run System File Check (If in Safe Mode or Command Prompt)

  • Open Command Prompt.
  • Type: sfc /scannow
  • Press Enter and allow it to scan for corrupted system files.

This can repair missing or damaged Windows components.

 

5. Create Windows Installation Media (If Recovery Fails)

If you can’t reach Recovery Mode:

  • On another PC, download the Windows Media Creation Tool:
    Windows 11 Installation Media
  • Create a bootable USB drive.
  • Boot your laptop from the USB and choose Repair your computer.

This gives access to recovery tools even if the internal recovery partition is inaccessible.
