Trying to determine if my laptop (17-x115dx) has a internal wwan card connector and if so, does HP offer a card for it. If not, what are my options to access the internet (mobile) other than my cell phones hotspot which is way too slow.
Thanks,

Hello Jim,
According to your models manual, it is wifi only. No wwan port on the motherboard.

You would have to find another alternative like the hotspot you were using.
I have seen wwan to usb adapters on Amazon, but I have no experience with them.

Thank you Photoray002,
Will check with Verizon to see if the mobile hot spot units they offer will work. If not, I can still use the hot spot on my phone it is just slow which causes problems when trying to fill out forms on the computer for customers.
