After installing my hp ac610tu laptop 2nd HDD caddy uses high CPU all time. primary SSD WD 120GB

High CPU usages
System
System interrupts

After removing the caddy not use high CPU

Please use the guide to service and maintenance to check the parts tested and approved to work on your device (as shown in the below image): Click here to access it

 

Anything above the 8GB SSD may or may not work, with the conditions you've experienced so far, you may upgrade at your own discretion, however, HP has optimized the device to its optimal performance and doesn't recommend any hardware changes as such.
