HP 15-f222wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I spoke to Crucial's tech support each time after installing the 8GB memory card, their website said for me to use with my laptop. Their tech said initially after trouble shooting it was a possible bad card, so I went back to the store and exchanged the card I purchased the day before. I have tried updating my bios as suggested but still no success. I can not get this laptop to boot up after installing the 8GB memory. If I reinstall the 4GB memory that came with the laptop it starts up and loads Windows Home 10 64-bit fine. It is becoming harder to complete my work at the university and all I want is a little more speed to do my work. I have a couple more years and do not want to have to buy a new laptop.

@JRock80 I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.
