Product: HP ENVY 17-cg0000 Laptop PC series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The existing bios version on my laptop is F.12 Rev A - Nov 13 2020. In HP Support Assistant there is an bios update to version
F.21 Rev A. 9.6MB, Jan13, 2021. On my first attempt to update the software there was a message saying that Version F21 was older than Version F12. The message also said it could harm this machine if I continued. I did not complete the update. I there a real issue here? Should I update or not.
