Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It's been quite a long that I have been trying to get the CTRL keys working/back on track and I have tried the things listed below:-

- updated/uninstalled & reinstalled drivers several times

- performed remedies suggested by HP Virtual agent which includes driver install/uninstall, Rebooting, performing HP PC Hardware Diagnosis

- Also, the CTRL keys doesn't work on the onscreen keyboard.

I ran the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and it didn't pick anything up. This is definitely not a physical key problem either. I have a strong feeling it is due to Windows updates and is frustrated about the lack of solutions on this and many other help threads on the same topic. Would really appreciate some help.
