HP Pavillion 15 CS0952ND

I want to upgrade my CS0952ND with a NVME if understand correctly this is possible. But I just want to be sure before I order.

So if someone could help me out I would appreciate it.

Hi,

Yes, you can put an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD of your preferred brand and capacity and then reinstall the OS on it. Something like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus would be great.

You should disable the Optane module you have at the moment in IRST software. You can see at bottom of this doc where it explains how to disable the Optane in Intel RST application and BIOS.

Then remove the Optane and install the PCIe drive (page 54 of service manual)

and reinstall the OS on it (i would create the bootable USB before inserting the new M2 drive)
