Lately i forgot my charger at friend and i was wondering, if i can charge my notebook with usb C. Is it possible? HP ENVY x360 13-ay1000nc

Hi, thank you for response.

Well, i kind of took the risk and just shoved the usb-c in there. and well, it works! charges with no problem. so, if anyone has the same type of notebook, YOU CAN use the thunderbolt USB-C to charge your laptop

There is a conflict in the information provided:

 

According to chapter 1, page 2 of the maintenance and service guide on your notebook's user guides page, the USB-C port supports data transfer only.

 

Chapter 2, page 6 of the service manual indicates that the USB-C port will charge the battery.
