Hi,

I am using an HP Notebook product number W4M65EA#ACB.

I am experiencing issues with my laptop abrubtly shutting down while there is still a charge on the battery, so i have decided to replace the battery.

On the back of my battery it says to replace with HP part 807956-001.

My current battery is 3 cell and 10.95V.

The batteries i have found under that part number are all 4 cell 14.6V 2200mAh / 32Wh.

(This is the part number my battery says to replace itself with, even though it is different).

Can i upgrade my current battery from 10.95V to 14.6V or is that unsafe?
