Can this laptop be taken out of S mode??

I have had this laptop for about three years and everything is working fine! Here is my question: Can this laptop be taken out of S-Mode??  I would like to add some programs and have asked technical support at a local office store but I want to find out from here.  Thanks!

Yes, you should be able to switch out of S-mode by following Microsoft's guidance at the link below:

Switching out of S mode in Windows - Microsoft Support

Once you make the switch you will not be able to go back to S-mode.
