HP Envy 15-ep0098nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got this laptop, I've already had to send it in once. I want to like it - I REALLY do. But HP you are killing me.

This is a problem that is so prevalent in your laptops that people dont know theres a solution to this and instead ask "How do i turn off my touchpad when I use a mouse?" because they feel like they cant type without frustration!

WHERE can i find palmcheck/palm reject settings? I have done a regedit to try to "unhide" the Synaptics Panel. I've tried to install the 3 or 4 different options from the Microsoft store. I have deleted completely the drivers and reinstalled via Windows Update AND downloading from the support page.

I know these are Microsoft precision drivers but there has to be something that works in conjunction with this to change the positioning of the "no touch" palm border. This is technology thats been around for over TWENTY years! Please, someone help me before i return this laptop!@#
