Its specs

      https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04496982

It has  256GB solid-state drive which is SATA drive. Ypu can use Device Manager to see what it is. The manual say the series has SINGLE storage configuration with

Single PCIe / SATA M.2 SSD configuration as storage (scope M.2 2260/2280 DS SSD)

  • 512 GB, MLC, PCIe, M.2.2280
  • 256 GB, MLC, PCIe, M.2.2260
  • 256 GB, TLC, SATA
  • 128 GB, TLC, SATA, M.2.2280

Looks like your machine has the red line above. You can use either 860 EVO (SATA) or 970 (PCIe). But it is much safer to use 860 EVO

I replace my SSD with EVO 970 plus and I connect a USB with windows burn from windows installation tools
I can see my new SSD (nvme) and select it to install windows 10, the installation from USB complete but when the system restart to complete windows installation I faced a problem that said
Boot device not found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk
hard disk (3F0)
I opened boot manager but I didn't see any option (nothing to boot from it)
I try to change the boot order but that's didn't fix my problem

any idea why I face this problem and how can I fix it
