hp thunderbolt dock 230w g2
Microsoft Windows 11

I have issues connecting my docking station with my notebook.
Notebook: ASUS N580GD-E4045T
Docking: HP Thunderbolt dock 230W G2

My laptop for work instantly connects, but when I plug in the USB-C cable into my personal notebook, it does not respond. The docking's LED lights up, but nothing more happens. How can I properly connect my notebook with the docking?

I already tried updating the drivers for the docking on my notebook.

@Mr_Heisenbert

Do your private notebook and work notebook are the same ? If NOT, you can answer your question by now. What is your private machine ? Is it compatible with the HP Dock ?

Regards.

No my private notebook is an ASUS N580GD-E4045T and my work laptop is an HP Zbook Fury 15,6 inch G8.

I am indeed questioning if my docking and private notebook are compatible at all...

Kind regards,
