Displaced USB-A Port

Hi everyone!

My laptop (HP Victus 16 s-1276ng) has three USB-A ports, and one of them is displaced in comparison to the case opening. It is positioned slightly lower than the opening in the case. I can't see the lower part of the port's metal housing, and there's a small gap between the upper part and the casing directly above it because the port is positioned slightly lower.

To insert a USB-A connector, you have to insert it at a slight angle into the port, pointing downwards. If you were to insert the USB-A connector straight in, it would hit the upper part of the USB-A port.

Should I be worried about damaging the connectors, the port, the USB hub, or the circuit board the port is mounted on?

I'd like to use this port to permanently plug in my mouse dongle. However, I don't know if the constantly slightly increased tension (pressure or tension) will eventually cause the port to detach from the circuit board or if the contacts in the port or dongle will break. What do you think? Maybe I'm overthinking it. 😉
