I've been searching online for a new battery for my device however I cannot find any original ones, not even on the HP store and I'm not sure about purchasing one of the "knock-off" versions.

HP Recommended

HP will have long ago stopped stocking it. eBay tends to have genuine but often shipped from China, which is where they are made and were made for HP. Amazon tends to have more 3rd party "compatible" batteries but these can be acceptable as long as you buy from a high rated seller.
