Hi Team,

 

Would like to upgrade my Laptop SSD to M2 SATA 512GB. Will 512GB SSD can be used as dual storage? As I can only see in the website that 256 GB SSD +1TB HDD as a Dual Storage. Model-15bs164tu

Could you please help me If I can install 512 GB SSD and use both the storages?

Hi:

 

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are normally just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

 

I don't know of any reason why a 500 GB or 1 TB M.2 SATA SSD wouldn't work, but there is no 100% guarantee that it will.
