Elitebook 850 g3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an Elitebook 850 G3(windows 10 x64 home)  since several years, It always worked as promised but since I did a clean swipe to start from factory settings, my e-id smartcard cannot be detected anymore.

I've installed the latest driver: Alcor micro USB Smart Card reader.

I have performed many steps as provided by the hp support assistent, virtual agent and several other forums but without any luck.

I don't know what else to do, does anyone have any suggestion, advice, solution? I used this reader very often and it's a real bummer that I can't use it anymore.

appreciate the help!
