I was wondering, is it possible to upgrade the RAM on my envy x360 13-ar0000?
It has the Ryzen 3700U, and its integrated graphics take up 2GB, which leaves only 6GB left for the system

Now it's not a worry, but in the future maybe, that's I want to know if I can actually upgrade the RAM.

Hi:
The memory in your notebook is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.
The models in the 13-ar0000 notebook series come configured with 8 GB or 16 GB of memory.
Below is the link to the service manual where you will find no memory removal or replacement procedure.

@Paul_Tikkanen
That is extremely unfortunate. I'm the site there was no 16GB from what I saw.
How come it's not upgradable?
The Envy x360 13 that came with Ryzen 2500U and 2700U could be upgraded.
I don't doubt you, but I will still open the laptop up just to be 100% sure.
Thanks for the help

You're very welcome.
I wouldn't go through the trouble of opening it up..
Even the renowned Crucial website indicates the memory is not upgradable.

Oh **bleep**, that's a shame.
Why would they do this though?
In the Sweden store they only sell a 8GB model, with no other configurations so it would make sense that at least the memory would he upgradable (?).
Some previous X360 13 Ryzen models had upgradable RAM, so I wonder why they would soldering the RAM on this model.
I bought this a couple months ago, so I suppose it's way to late to actually return it / replace, right?
I mean, if that's the case, I'll still be fine however with the 6GB though. Hopefully it will be enough for a couple of years at least.
Thanks for the quick help anyway, I appreciate it?
