Hello, my friend!

Unfortunately this option also didn´t work.

The good news is that as I tried entering the in Bios Setup because I remembered that there was a setting there about the fans.  So I enabled the fans to be always on, restared the system and the fans are working continuously while I type to you.

But... the thing is: they are not speeding up to prevent the temperature to raise too much. My system heat monitor program keeps alerting me that the temperature is hitting 95 degrees Celsius.

So, since I´m forcing the fans to be always on through the BIOS, the Windows still not being able to start and control the fans.

Any clues fo what I should try now?

Once again, thanks a lot for your time and pacience. WhatsApp Image 2022-05-05 at 18.52.02.jpeg

Thanks for your response.

To proceed further, may I know if you were facing the same issue when you booted your system into the safe mode?

Let me know.

Thanks!

Hey there, pal.

Restarting into the safe mode didn’t make the fan to start.  = (

Thanks once again!

Thanks for checking it.

Since the issue wasn't there in the safe mode. It could be a software-related concern.

I would suggest you please take a backup of your data and perform a reinstallation of the Operating System using the link here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-pavilion-x360-14-convertible-pc-14-dy1000/2100855162/model/2...

Hey Nirvana_95,

Sorry for taking too long to answer you back.

I think that I didn´t explain very clearly but the thing this that the fans does not start in the Safe Mode.

Do you still think I should move to the backup and reinstall procedure anyway?

Thank you!

Thank you very much for all your time.

I answered you there in private, but just in case anyone might me following this case here, I will post some informations to refresh anyone´s mind about it.

My computer is out of warranty now but It just came from HP Service Center where some parts were replaced.

And It doesn´t seems to be a hardware issue: the fans work when I go into the BIOS and switch the fans to be always enabled. It seems that, some how, the OS is not managing the fans. So if it is a hardware issue, it could be something related to the fans but not the fans directly.

What do you think I should try now, please?
