HP ProBook 450 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I just bought a new HP ProBook 450 G6 laptop and I want to add an HDD and another 8GB memory to it.

I want to buy the HDD and Memory module, then go to an HP service for installation.

My question is: It is possible to add an HDD or an SSD to my laptop? if yes..what exactly type of HDD or SSD?

Also, any other details I should be aware of, regarding the Memory module besides DDR4, 2667Mhz?

I would like to know this information, in order to be able to buy the proper hardware for the laptop.

Thank you v much in advance!

A:  There is only one M.2 SSD socket on the motherboard and one place for a HDD.  Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop.  In Chapter 1, Product description, Page 2, is all of the information that you will need about the Memory and the Hard drives.  Also, there is a section for the Authorized Service Provider parts in Chapter 6, beginning on Page 48.  The Guide will give you all of the information that you will need on the laptop.

Here is the Product specifications page for the laptop.
