HP Laptop 14-bs0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm planning to give my machine an upgrade. What parts of my laptop can be upgraded and what are the specifications that are needed on my specific device. I'm not that good on computer stuff, so I'm asking for your help.

Another thing: What are the specific replacement parts for the battery and the AC adapter?

A detailed response would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

Battery
4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919701-850
3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery 919700-850

45-W 741553-850

The memory can be expanded to 8 gb of DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM and you could install a 2.5 inch SATA SSD in lieu of the hard drive. Upgrading an entry-level type machine rarely makes sense as the upgrade will cost more than the laptop is worth. Spend the money to get a laptop with a decent processor.

Thank you for the concise response!!!

Another question: Is there any limit to the SSD capacity, or can it accomodate any of them, whether its 128, 256, 512 GB or 1 TB?

HP Recommended

No practical limit. I have seen them up to 4 TB and 2 TB is widely available.
