HP Recommended
HP 250 G7 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP 250 G7 Core i5 i5-8265U, 32 GB RAM (2*16 GB)

Device is throttling on power supply.

With AC connected I'll get between 1.2..1.8 GHz CPU frequency but less than 2 GHz overall (near 8 W usage with peaks up to 15 W)

Without AC connected performance is ok. I'll get average near 2.4..2.6 GHz with peaks up to 3.7 GHz  (using 8..25 W).

CPU Temperatures are less than 75°C all the time.

There is installed the latest BIOS F.51 Rev.A - sp158536.exe (5. Mai 2025).

Issue was also permanent with all former versions.

OS is Windows 10 22H2 64bit.

Is there a possibility to get this fixed by any uefi update?
