Please help me to know if my laptop "HP ENVY Notebook - 15-k209ne" has M.2 Socket for M.2 SSD on the motherboard so want to add a "NVME M.2 SSD" to be additional hard drive ???.

Hi,

The notebook will not support an M2 NVMe PCIe SSD. It should have an M2 port, however with only support for M2 SATA3 SSD.

Before buying a drive you should check if the physical slot is present on motherboard, as sometimes notebooks that did not come with M2 SSD are missing the physical slot.

Look at pages 2 and 67 of service manual:
