Product: HP EliteBook Folio 9480m Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

1. bought new battery: same problem it just drains

2. removed and discharged battery using power button

3. unistalled battery, adapter files, bios and reinstalled

4. ran the battery report and saw that the battery stopped charging in early January

Still get Battery 1 not present, Battery 2 33%.

It almost seems like Battery 1 and Battery 2 were switched in the software update and now the charge won't run to the correct battery? or the battery internal needs to be replaced, but I think its software related.  I saw one other iuser with this and he could not get a fix..  I would think HP would be running into this.  Any help would be great as I really dont want to have to buy another laptop as this one is great.
