HP Envy 13-aq0044TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I have recently purchased an HP Envy 13 and I have noticed that there is an issue with the left hinge. When I open the lid of my laptop, the hing pops out. It has gotten worse over time which is a concern. I have seen that it is a common issue and it may be expensive to repair. However, my device's warranty is still active. Will this issue fall within the warranty? I would appreciate if someone can get in touch with me for more details regarding the device and its warranty. Many thanks in advance.

Hi@hazard4512,

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Apologies for all the inconvenience

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the hinge assembly and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
