Hi
I have done some research and to improve the performance of my machine I am proposing to move my current hard drive to the optical drive slot using a HDD Caddy, can someone recommend one please. And fit a new 250gb SSD Drive where the hard drive was.
I plan to do the work myself. Can someone list the steps that I need to follow to clone my current hard drive. My current Hard Drive is 340gb but only using 200gb.
IWhat SSD should I buy?
Thanks in advcance for your help

All standard 2.5" SSD's for laptops/notebooks will work. Please use the following compatible SSD's
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/probook-6570b/CT11295085 (250GB)
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/probook-6570b/CT11322846 (500GB)
You can use free software to clone
https://www.easeus.com/backup-recovery/windows-10-disk-clone.html
What I normally do:
(a) Mount new SSD to an USB enclosure,
(b) Cole HDD to SSD,
(c) Swap them
Now you can use old HDD as an external HDD or put to a caddy as your plan
Regards.
