Probook 450 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We need to upgrade RAM from 1x8Gb to 2x8Gb in the HP Probook 450 G6 i7

Looked at the Quickspecs guide 22/6/19 and the memory part numbers quoted are wrong.

4GB 2666MHz DDR4      4VN05AA
8GB 2666MHz DDR4      4VN06AA
16GB 2666 MHz DDR4  4VN07AA

Problem is they are HP standard DD4 DIMM's part numbers --- NOT SODIMM's

Does anyone have the correct HP SODIMM part numbers?

Thanks.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06200645

Chapter 3, page 22, item 14 has the part numbers, but the memory listed is  2400 Mhz, which is fine as long as the processor your specific model notebook has doesn't run the memory at 2666 Mhz.

Buying memory from HP normally costs a fortune.

You may want to get a quality 8 GB memory chip from a manufacturer such as Crucial.

This part is from the crucial memory report for the 450 G6...
