HP pen does not work on hp spectre x360 convertible 13-w0XX

Hi, I just bought a HP pen and it did not work on my laptop although I followed the instruction given.
Do I need to download any software to use with the pen, or does my laptop compatible with the pen?

hi, I downloaded it. And, it said not compatible with this computer. So, does it mean that the pen does not work with my laptop?

The HP Active Pen and the HP Active Stylus input devices do not work with HP Spectre 13-w000 x360 Convertible PCs. The computer is not designed for use with these devices. However, that's not the end of the road. You can use a passive stylus (also called a capacitive stylus) is a pen that acts just like a finger when touching a device screen.
