How do I turn the keyboard backlight on

In the process of setting the laptop up, but can't work out how to activate the keyboard backlight.

If your notebook has a backlit keyboard (not every 840 G5 does), the function key to the right of the microphone mute key will have an icon with 3 dots representing keys with a 'light rays' on upper left side of the icon.

If you don't see that icon, then your notebook did not come with the optional backlit keyboard.
