It came with one 512 gig PCIe/NVME M.2 mSSD and there is a slot (bay) to add a 2.5 inch wide standard sized laptop hard drive or SATA SSD.
You need these in addition to the hard drive:
(2) Hard drive back connector and hard drive cable 857462-001 (3) Hard drive bracket 911227-001
See p. 39 for instructions. You have to remove the back cover which is not terribly hard. Since your laptop came with only an M.2 disk you will not have the bracket and cable needed to install a 2.5 inch drive.
I have the 15 inch Omen which came with a 2 TB hard drive and a 128 gig M.2 and I upgraded the M.2 to a 512 gig so I have done this disassembly thing. There is a video on here of me doing it if you are interested.

Another question I have is, will doing all these upgrades void the warranty?

Since your operating system is running from the fastest kind of storage money can buy you really do not need a second solid state drive. i would buy a big 1 TB or 2 TB mechanical hard drive for storage. It will be plenty fast.
Will not void the warranty. The video I made shows me swapping one M.2 disk for another and does not go into how to install a hard drive. And, as I said you do not need just the hard drive but also some other hardware in order to install it.

For the parts you suggested, when I clicked on the items (cable and bracket) in the cart, it shows a list of compatible laptops. However 17-w273nr is not one od them. Are you sure, it is compatible for 17-w273nr? And also, another post recommended 862964-001 for the cable part, do you know what the difference is? Will both work?

The Manual clearly is intended to cover your model.
The Parts Store does list 862964-001 as compatible with your model and I believe the part number I gave above is for a kit consisting of 2 parts and the 862964-001 is the number for just the hard drive cable.
