Hello, I have a problem installing my canon printer MG2570s to my laptop Hp envy windows 11. Everytime I connecting the USB cord "usb not recognize and malfunction" so the software download for my canon printer is not successful because later on it will not detect the device. I tried to do the unistall of usb hub, update the drive, reinstall my printer, uninstall the other printer but the problem is the same. Both my usb port are 3.0. Additionally, on my power button-- advance setting there is no USB so i cannot enable or unable it. Please help. Thank you!

Just out of curiosity: have you tried wireless (Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz) setup? See here: Canon Pixma MG2570S Wireless Setup | Canon MG2570s Setup (printersetup.org).
If that's not what you want, let's move on: I would suggest trying the methods below:
Method #1: Run the print troubleshooter:
1) Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
2) In the left pane click on View all.
3) Select the printer option and follow the on screen instructions.
If your issue persists:
Method #2: Perform Clean Boot
Clean boot is performed to check if any third party application is causing the issue.
Please follow the following link and see if it helps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
If your issue persists:
Method #3: Uninstall -if applicable and reinstall the printer driver from the manufacturer website (Canon Pixma MG2570S Driver | Free Download (canondriver.net) ) or secondary website like here: Canon PIXMA MG2570S Printer Drivers Download
After setting the computer in clean boot again restart the print spooler service and check if it helps.
a. Click Start, type services.msc and hit Enter.
b. Scroll down to Print spooler.
c. Stop the print spooler service.
d. Start the spooler service again.
Let's see if this works.

The printer should be compatible, that is not the issue. Follow the steps under "Add a USB-connected printer to Windows" from this HP link: HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) | HP® Customer Support.
Condensing, let's focus on trying to fix the print spooler in Windows.
1.) Turn off the printer using the power button and then unplug the printer power cord from the power outlet.
2.) Save your work. After using these steps, your current print jobs are lost and will need to be printed again.
3.) Open Windows Services using one of the following methods:
-Search Windows for services, and click Services in the list of results.
-On your keyboard, press the Windows key + R, type services.msc in the window that opens, and then click OK.
4.) Scroll through the list of services and find the name Print Spooler.
5.) Right-click Print Spooler and select Stop.
6.) After the service has been stopped, close the service window and use Windows Explorer to browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS.
7.) Delete all files inside the PRINTERS folder.
8.) Shut down your computer from Windows.
9.) Make sure you printer has been unplugged for at least 60 seconds, and then plug the power cord into a power outlet.
10.) Turn on the printer using the power button on the printer.
11.) Turn on the computer and wait for Windows to open.
12.) Try printing again and note what happens.
-If the printer prints, you are done.
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software from here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/help/printscandoctor. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
Hope this was helpful.
