Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When i start my laptop i get the message on the screen smart disque scan failure

When i did a harddrive test i got

Long DST: failed

Failure id: 0PG77S-98W9T7-MFPW2J-618303

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Full Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the hard drive, you can reinstall W10 by using the HP cloud recovery client utility to create a bootable recovery drive.

I bought an  SSD M.2 nvme pcie gen 3.0 

When i installed it nothing happends 

Its not detected by bios

Unfortunately I wouldn't know why it isn't working.

 

Both chapter 1 of the service manual, and the crucial memory report indicates that NVMe M.2 SSD's are supported.

Is there a BIOS slot security setting you have to enable?

 

I recommend that you start a new regarding this matter.

Nothing found in bios setting and there is no advanced bios setting 

Could the m2 port be disabled?

Ok i updated bios and now the ssd is detected and shows up in legacy boot order
