Hi @Dollface625,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for reaching out! I understand you're having trouble retrieving your emails on your HP Notebook - 17-ca1006ds – and I can see how inconvenient that can be, especially if your cable provider has confirmed everything is okay on their end.

Since the issue may be related to your email client settings (like Outlook, Windows Mail, etc.), you may want to review and confirm the following with your email provider:

  1. Incoming & Outgoing Server Settings
    • Server type (IMAP or POP3)
    • Incoming/Outgoing server addresses
    • Port numbers
    • Encryption type (SSL/TLS)

  2. Username & Password
    • Double-check for typos or saved credentials that might be outdated.

  3. Security Software or Firewall
    • Sometimes, third-party antivirus or firewall settings can block email access. You might try temporarily disabling them to test.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
