It sounds like you've accidentally deleted the touchpad drivers on your HP Notebook 15. To get things back on track, you can try reinstalling the drivers from HP’s official support page:

Once you're on the page, you’ll need to enter the exact model number of your HP Notebook 15 to find the correct drivers. If you're unsure about the model, you can usually find it on the bottom of your laptop or by checking Settings > System > About.
